STRATEGIES

The strategies of the Abba Foundation Home Construction Project include the following;

To set up children demonstration center where children will meet to train and do different activities where they feel the love i.e. music, art or computer skills

In the construction of a home and school, there is a need for masons, architects, painters, and decorators. The Board has made a plan to recruit the personnel at different stages when the need arises and resources are obtained.

The Board needs to raise the necessary funding in different ways for this project to take off.

The Project requires a variety of materials including building materials such as cement, sand, stones, timber, water, metal pieces, and iron sheets. There is a need for training materials and craft raw materials.

Implementation plan and time frame.

The proposed area of development of this project is in Kiserian in Kajiado County, Kenya. The sole purpose of the Home is to serve OVCs.

The duration of the span of the project is 3yrs.

Project Funding Summary

The estimated total budget for the project is 100,000,000ksh (1,000,000 USD)

The proposed project will entail purchase of a piece of land where we will set up a home and school fully equipped.

Other Comprehensive package of practical support to OVCs :

Economic and fund raising program

Organizing charity walks and other fund raising activities.

Operating income generating activities such as poultry farm, bakery, secretarial services such as photocopying.

Training of care givers and any other interested individuals in appropriate handling and care of OVCs.

Sensitising various stakeholders on the on the special needs of OVCs.
